About this course

Do you have updates needed to your Curriculum Strategy forms or workflows to work better for your institution, or to update for new policies and procedures on campus?

Description: Changes to your forms and/or workflows are a natural part of ever-evolving system maintenance and changing procedures on campus. Our Support team continues to handle standard maintenance requests. However, significant updates to forms or restructuring workflows includes additional development time and can benefit from consultation by a Product Consultant to guide best practices. See guidance below to help determine if this project is right for you.

Service Provided: Curriculum Strategy Form/Workflow Updates includes up to three 1-hour training and consultation sessions, including a validation once work has been completed, with a Watermark Product Consultant, and up to 10 developer hours to complete the system updates.

Target Audience: Experienced administrators

Number of Participants: Up to 3 administrators

Method: Remote. All session(s) are recorded so you will have access to the recording(s) to use as a reference and to share them with your campus team.

Post-Implementation Curriculum Management System Updates
Included in world-class support and/or self-service options Paid professional services

Simple form revisions, such as changes to form option lists (e.g., dropdown values) or adding/removing a field without any workflow impact

Relinking CM forms to new catalog(s)

Basic dashboard updates (year filters, labels)

Changes to organizational based access permissions that do not change the workflow (i.e., new subject codes or departments in a standard set-up)

Curriculum Form Field Updates (Relabeling of forms or fields, reordering of forms or fields, or revision of help text - including on protected fields)

Minor updates, such as scheduled day(s), of standard email notifications

Changes that require less than .5 developer hours may be completed as part of a support request per developer approval

Changes to forms that impact the workflow, such as option lists that act as workflow triggers

Changes to forms that require more than .5 developer hours

Changes to the workflow including:

- Addition or removal of stages
- Addition, removal or changes to triggers or branches based on form selection
- Addition, removal or changes to buttons or routing options for existing stages

Creation of new forms and workflows after implementation

Custom email notifications beyond standard originator and approver emails

New or updated dashboard customizations (new filters, add/remove dashboards)

Please note that it may not be possible to complete all changes within one project as substantial changes across multiple forms may result in more than 10 total developer hours resulting in the need to engage in multiple change projects. Typically, significant changes to 1-3 forms and workflows or small changes to 4-6 forms and workflows within either Syllabus Management or Curriculum Management can be supported within one update project. Please specify if your changes will be to Curriculum Management or Syllabus Management so that we may assign you to the appropriate team.
