About this course

Rubrics are one of the foundational resources in Student Learning and Licensure. The course will provide an overview of the components (or parts) of a rubric in the rubric builder, what has to be included to obtain the data desired, and a video tutorial/ walkthrough of basic rubric creation.

By the end of this course the participant will be able to:

  1.  Identify the parts of a rubric in the builder and what is required to create a basic rubric
  2.  Build a rubric in SL&L and add the necessary information

Cumulative course time: 1 hour

Course Overview:

Schedule: This course is fully online and is meant to accompany your Implementation. This course will not replace your Implementation and Training. Learners will have continual access to this course.

Required materials: Computer with Internet access. *Second monitor is highly suggested.

Assessment: Knowledge check activities will occur at various points within the course. These will help test your knowledge of the content within the course.
