About this course

Do you need assistance building and editing a new handbook in the Catalog system?

Description: In these sessions, a Watermark Product Consultant will train administrators to use the catalog system to build a handbook and manage it over time. A handbook is a narrative only document that does not include program information and is not updated using the Curriculum Management system.

This training covers:

    • Overview of the launchpad “homepage”
    • Content Tree: Key terms and concepts
    • Building handbook narrative structure
    • Media Library
    • Workflow and approval process

Please note that current administrators that already have the access and knowledge needed to create a handbook (with guidance from articles in the Help Center) can create one without additional training. To begin the process of creating a handbook on your own, contact Support to create the shell of the handbook in your system. Support will ensure settings and items such as Site Map and Search are created.

Service Provided: The Curriculum Strategy Additional Handbook Training/Consultation includes up to three 1-hour training sessions with a Watermark Product Consultant.

Target Audience: Handbook managers who have little to no experience with Catalog, but who have the support of the campus system administrator to create a Handbook.

Number of Participants: Up to 3 administrators

Preparation for Training: New administrator(s) should be granted access to the Catalog system and confirm their ability to login successfully prior to beginning training.

Method: Remote. All session(s) are recorded so you will have access to the recording(s) to use as a reference and to share them with your campus team.
